The MICHELIN X Works XDY tire's wider tread design delivers a 10 percent increase in removal mileage, and a new directional tread design leads to more efficient mud evacuation, enhancing workability. MICHELIN® XDY-EX2™
Our next-generation on/off road tire with exceptional traction and wear for workability and dependability. The MICHELIN XDY-EX2 tire is now available, replacing the MICHELIN XDY-EX tire. The MICHELIN XDY-EX2 tire maximizes uptime with a newly redesigned tread. This more aggressive design provides an increased void area that helps improve off-road and mud traction. MICHELIN® XZU®S2
Our next-generation all-position tire with high carrying capacity, designed for exceptional tread life in high scrub urban applications like refuse vehicles. The MICHELIN XZUS2 tire is now available, replacing the MICHELIN XZUS tire. The MICHELIN XZU S2 tire delivers up to a 20 percent increase in removal mileage, thanks to the new 4-rib tread design with an increased volume of tread rubber. An optimized bead design improves retreadability. (Compared to the MICHELIN XZU S tire)
MICHELIN® XZU®S Pre-Mold™ Retread
New Size Offering – 280
Michelin Retread Technologies announces the MICHELIN XZUS Pre-Mold retread now available in a 280 size. This retread provides long, even wear for demanding regional/urban applications—popular for refuse fleets. The MICHELIN XZU S Pre-Mold retread has optimized casing and tread life. Plus, it comes in with less weight than the 270 or even the 250. It still has the same usable tread, but less undertread. This develops less heat and helps preserve casing life.
Together, increased removal mileage, durable casings and time savings all add up to a bigger bottom line, proving once again that The Right Tire Changes Everything™.

ROADSIDE SERVICE, RIGHT AT YOUR FINGERTIPS
Now you can find the nearest MICHELIN® truck tire or service provider wherever you go, using your Blackberry, Droid or iPhone.
Michelin Americas Truck Tires is introducing two new mobile truck tire applications in the U.S. and Canada for Apple iPhone and Android-based smartphones. The new apps join the existing Blackberry application introduced in August 2010, as well as the existing MICHELIN® ONCall™ emergency road service (ERS) and online dealer and service locator in Michelin's “Wherever You Go” offering.
“With the introduction of these iPhone and Android apps, smartphone users across the trucking industry now have easy access to Michelin product and service locations,” said Jaye Young, U.S. country marketing manager, MATT. “With today's on-the-go, real-time business environment, we are delivering information directly to our customers wherever they go.”
Not only can you use the locator app to find MICHELIN® tires and service, you can also call MICHELIN® ONCall™ directly from the app or search for a provider by category, including emergency roadside service, travel plazas, on-site tire service or MRT Retread providers. The app finds the nearest service providers based on your GPS location, or another location you enter yourself. It also allows users to call the service provider, obtain driving directions, or store the provider's information in their device's contacts or address book.
The iPhone app is designed to also work on iPod Touch devices, with similar functionality when connected to Wi-Fi, but without the GPS-based services. For more information on the iPhone, Android or Blackberry apps, please visit the mobile apps page.
